NYT Spelling Bee #3,101 for Tuesday, November 3, 2026: the list has 49 words worth 273 points, 4 to 9 letters long, with three pangrams. The hints above start small, and every word stays hidden until you ask.
How Spelling Bee works
Spelling Bee gives you seven letters, one of them in the middle. Make words of four letters or more that use the middle letter, using only the seven. A letter can be used as many times as you like. Proper names, hyphenated words and very rare words don’t count.
How it is scored
A four-letter word scores one point. A longer word scores one point for each letter. A pangram, a word that uses all seven letters at least once, scores its length plus seven bonus points. Some days have more than one pangram. Reach 70 percent of the day’s points to become a Genius, or find every word to be Queen Bee.
How to use this page
The hints start small: how many words there are and what they are worth. Each one after it says a little more, from how long the words are, to the letters they begin with, to a clue to the pangram. Take only as many as you need. When you are ready, show the pangram, or the whole list.
Why a word may be missing
The list is the New York Times’ own word list for the day. It leaves out some words you will find in a dictionary, and the Scrabble word lists on this site hold others that Spelling Bee does not accept. If a word is rejected in the game, it is not on the list.
