Letterpress cheat FAQs

How does the Letterpress cheat work?

Type the 25 letters of your board, row by row. We list every word they make, each tile used once, longest first. Among words of the same length, the one with the higher Scrabble tile score comes first.

Does it know which tiles are mine?

No. It reads only the letters, so it lists every word the board makes. Pick one that uses the tiles you want to take or keep, and skip any word the game says was already played.

Why does the list stop at 300 words?

A board makes thousands of short words, and the best plays are the long ones at the top. Choose “List all” under the words to see every one of 2 letters or more.

Is it the same dictionary as the game’s?

Not exactly. Letterpress has its own word list, so the odd word may be refused. Scrabble US is the default; switch to Scrabble UK or Words with Friends if a word you know is missing.
